Saheefa Jabbar Khattak is making a return to television after a hiatus of four years, set to feature in Green TV’s upcoming comedy series, “Rafta Rafta.” The talented actress, known for her role in “Teri Meri Kahani,” will be joined by Zaviyar Nauman Ejaz and Hina Dilpazeer in this six-to-eight-episode series, directed by Khalik Khan, scheduled for release during Ramazan.

In an exclusive comment to Images, Saheefa expressed her gratitude for the absence of stereotypical elements like crying or slapping in the show, a departure from the typical features of Pakistani dramas. She emphasized her preference for a storyline without such elements and highlighted the “fun and cute” nature of the series.

Saheefa revealed that Hina Dilpazeer would play her mother in the series, and she was excited about the unique wardrobe for her character, describing it as that of a “Pakistani girl who wears kurta pyjamas from Khaadi or BeechTree with khusas.” She mentioned her efforts in losing weight, expressing optimism about looking different in this project.

The actress, who is also working on other scripts from Green TV, sees this as a comeback. Saheefa shared her enthusiasm for exploring different genres, expressing satisfaction with the comedic and margin-filled nature of “Rafta Rafta.” She drew parallels between her character in the series and herself, noting the independence and fun traits shared with the character.
