Some sensors may not reach Galaxy S phones but target other brands and industries. The 50MP GN6, competing with Sony’s IMX989, may be cost-prohibitive for Samsung’s devices, favoring external adoption.

The 440MP HU1 may serve sectors like automotive or industry rather than smartphones. The 320MP camera could find its way to the Galaxy S series, possibly in the Galaxy S26 Ultra by 2026. The 200MP HP7, meant for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, offers slightly larger pixels and image quality improvements, yet costs could limit its inclusion in Samsung’s smartphones.
