PESHAWAR – Sandal Khattak, a Pakistani Tiktoker known for stirring controversies, has taken an unexpected turn by stepping into the political realm. Recently, she filed nomination papers for a women’s reserved seat, drawing attention despite her history of contentious moments.

In her move towards politics, Sandal Khattak, previously both a friend and a rival of Hareem Shah, submitted nomination papers for a reserved women’s seat from her hometown. However, she has not disclosed any affiliation with a particular political party.

With the deadline for nomination submissions set for December 24, 2023, candidates are swiftly filing their papers for the upcoming general elections.

Earlier this year, Sandal Khattak faced legal issues after being arrested by the FIA on allegations of sharing private videos of fellow TikToker Hareem Shah. Subsequently, she was granted post-arrest bail by a special court. The case stemmed from a complaint filed by Hareem Shah, accusing Khattak of leaking her private videos across social media platforms.
