Eid ul Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, holds significant religious importance as it marks the culmination of the Hajj pilgrimage and commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.
As the festive occasion approaches, various cattle markets have emerged across the country, offering a diverse array of cows, goats, sheep, and camels for sacrifice. These markets serve the tradition of sacrificing animals as a symbolic gesture of gratitude and devotion.
With Pakistan gearing up to observe Eid ul Adha, the extended holiday period provides an opportunity for individuals to engage in religious rituals, spend quality time with loved ones, and contemplate the values of sacrifice and generosity that define this auspicious occasion.
