School timings in Islamabad revised due to hot weather

ISLAMABAD – In response to the intense heat and the risk of a heatwave, the federal educational institutions in Islamabad have adjusted their operating hours.

According to a statement issued by the Secretary of Education, the new timings will be from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. These revised hours are effective immediately and will remain in place until the commencement of the summer holidays.

The Secretary of Education explained that the adjustment aims to safeguard students and teachers from the severe weather conditions.
