Security Forces Neutralize Three Terrorists, Soldier Honored in IBO

In operations conducted across various regions, security forces successfully neutralized three terrorists while tragically losing a soldier from the Pakistan Army to a landmine explosion, as confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The ISPR reported that in the initial incident, a targeted intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan led to the elimination of two terrorists. Simultaneously, in a separate IBO carried out in the Kot Azam area of South Waziristan, another terrorist was gunned down.

Recovered from the deceased terrorists were a cache of weapons and ammunition, confirming their involvement in multiple terrorist activities targeting both security forces and civilians.

In a heartbreaking incident in the general area of Gharyoum, North Waziristan District, a devastating Improvised Explosive Device detonated, resulting in the martyrdom of Sepoy Shahzeb (26), a resident of district Rawalpindi.

“Sanitization operations are underway to eradicate any remaining terrorists in the region. The dedication of Pakistan’s security forces to eradicate the scourge of terrorism remains unwavering, and the sacrifices made by our valiant soldiers only strengthen our resolve,” stated ISPR officials.

These recent operations underscore the continuous efforts of security forces to eliminate terrorist elements from various regions while highlighting the immense sacrifices made by soldiers on the frontlines in the fight against terrorism.
