Security Forces Operation in D.I Khan Sends Four Terrorists to Their Demise

The Pakistani security forces have once again demonstrated their effectiveness in combating terrorism with a successful operation in the northwestern region, resulting in the elimination of four militants, as per reports from ISPR. The military’s media wing stated that the operation, conducted in Dera Ismail Khan district, targeted terrorists based on intelligence inputs.

 

On 25th March, security forces initiated an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Dera Ismail Khan District following reports of terrorist presence in the area. The operation led to a fierce exchange of fire between the two sides, culminating in the neutralization of four terrorists, identified as Mustafa, Qismat Ullah, and Islam Ud Din. ISPR affirmed that these individuals were actively involved in various terrorist activities targeting both security forces and civilians.

The operation also resulted in the recovery of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the militants. Local residents have lauded the efforts of the security forces, appreciating their swift action to ensure the safety and security of the area. Furthermore, a sanitization operation is currently underway to eliminate any potential remaining threats, underscoring the unwavering commitment of the security forces to eradicate terrorism from the country, as affirmed by ISPR.
