Uppal also commended Sunidhi Chauhan as a “very good performer” with the ability to captivate the audience during live shows. However, when the conversation turned to Arijit Singh, known for his extensive song repertoire, Uppal provided a critical assessment of his live performances. According to Uppal, Arijit lacks the energy and dynamic stage presence that are essential for engaging the audience in a live setting.

Highlighting the importance of movement and crowd engagement in concerts, Uppal emphasized that Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan excel in these aspects, creating an immersive experience for the audience. He also noted the contrast in musical backgrounds, mentioning that Nigam explored pop before entering playback singing, while Arijit started his career primarily as a playback singer.
