Sanjay Dutt, the Bollywood celebrity, sent a touching letter to Javed Miandad, the Kandy coach in the Lanka Premier League (LPL).
Dutt expressed his excitement over meeting Miandad in Kandy for the forthcoming fourth edition of the LPL in a viral video posted across various social media networks.
Addressing the renowned cricketer with the utmost respect, Kandy’s joint owner expressed his excitement at finally seeing the former captain in Sri Lanka after a lengthy absence.
“Javed Bhai Salam. I saw your video. We really enjoyed it. It was so good to see you after so long. Looking forward to meeting you in Kandy,” said Sanjay Dutt.
Dutt purchased the B-Love Kandy business earlier this year with his partners Omar Khan and Sheikh Marwan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram, as well as Javed Miandad and Mohammad Azharuddin, are among the franchise’s mentors.
B-Love Kandy is prepared to make a significant impression in the highly anticipated fourth edition of the LPL, led by Sri Lanka’s top spinner Wahindu Hasanga.
It is worth noting that Pakistani cricketers Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hasnain, Asif Ali, Mohammad Haris, and Aamer Jamal have been chosen for the 2018 edition.
