Azhar Ali, the former Pakistani cricketer, is anticipated to assume a significant role within the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), while Rehan ul Haq, a former team manager, is poised to return to his previous position.
Sources suggest that the new PCB chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, is keen on engaging Azhar Ali’s services either in the selection committee or within the high-performance center of the PCB.
Consequently, Rehan ul Haq, who previously served as the team manager during Najam Sethi’s tenure, is expected to resume his role in managing the Pakistan cricket team.
