Cricket to replace breakdancing at 2028 Los Angeles Olympics

Breakdancing, which debuted in the Paris Olympics, will not be featured in the Los Angeles 2028 Games. Instead, cricket will be added to the lineup, marking its return to the Olympics after 128 years. Los Angeles is set to host the 34th Olympic Games in 2028, 44 years after it last hosted them.

The decision to include cricket in the T20 format reflects a significant shift in the competition’s lineup. Breakdancing, despite its inclusion in Paris, won’t be part of the upcoming Games, signaling a departure from some of the newer sports introduced in recent Olympics.
