Former cricketer Abdul Razzaq has responded to his removal from the selection committee, emphasizing that all members possessed equal authority and questioning the decision where one vote could outweigh six others.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) dismissed Abdul Razzaq and Wahab Riaz from the national selection committee following the national team’s disappointing performance in the ICC T20 World Cup. Mohammad Yousuf and Asad Shafiq were retained as committee members.

Shahid Afridi, another former cricketer, criticized the PCB’s move, suggesting that either the entire selection committee should have been replaced or none at all.
