Usman Qadir made his debut for Pakistan in 2020, impressing during a T20I series against Zimbabwe with eight wickets. He later served as Pakistan’s primary leg spinner, replacing Shadab Khan in T20Is. Despite his talent, his career faced challenges such as inconsistency and personal difficulties.

Before playing for Pakistan, Qadir had ties to Australian cricket, having played for Western Australia and in the Big Bash League with teams like Perth Scorchers and Sydney Thunder. His decision to represent Pakistan came after the sudden death of his father, the legendary Abdul Qadir, in 2019.

Now, aiming to rebuild his career, Usman is determined to make the most of his move to Australia. “Cricket is my life, and I’ve come with a clear vision for my future,” he shared. “I’m excited about the opportunities ahead.” He is also expecting his family to join him as he looks to make a name in Australian cricket.
