Haris Unbeaten Century Powers Pakistan to 3-0 Series Sweep over Bangladesh

Mohammad Haris lit up the Gaddafi Stadium with a brilliant unbeaten 107 as Pakistan wrapped up a dominant 3-0 win in the T20I series against Bangladesh on Sunday.

The hosts clinched the third and final T20I with a commanding seven-wicket victory, successfully chasing a challenging 197-run target in just 18 overs, much to the delight of the home crowd in Lahore.

After winning the toss and choosing to bowl, Pakistan held Bangladesh to 196 for 6 in their 20 overs. Parvez Hossain Emon was the top scorer for the visitors with 66 runs, supported by Tanzid Hasan’s 42. Towhid Hridoy and skipper Litton Das chipped in with 25 and 22 respectively.

Pakistan’s bowling attack was spearheaded by Hasan Ali and Abbas Afridi, who grabbed two wickets apiece, while Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf took one each.

In response, the Pakistani batting unit was led by a sensational knock from Haris, who not only brought up his maiden T20I hundred but remained unbeaten, steering his team to victory. He was well supported by Saim Ayub, who contributed 45 runs, and Hasan Nawaz, who added 26 in a quick cameo.

This clean sweep marks Pakistan’s first T20I series whitewash since 2021, reinforcing their strong form in the shortest format.
