PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that the board has always advocated for keeping politics separate from sports. However, in light of India’s reckless targeting of the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, which aimed to disrupt the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League X, the PCB made the decision to move the remaining matches to the UAE. This measure was taken to ensure the safety of both domestic and international players, protecting them from potential harm from India’s actions.

Naqvi expressed regret that Pakistani fans would miss out on attending these matches at home but reiterated the PCB’s commitment to the growth of the tournament and the well-being of its players. He called for continued support from stakeholders to ensure the success of the league.
