Pakistan

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the squad for the upcoming white-ball series against New Zealand, with Salman Ali Agha appointed as the T20I captain and Shadab Khan as his deputy. The series will feature five T20Is from March 16 to 26, followed by three ODIs from March 29 to April 5.

Mohammad Rizwan will continue leading the ODI side, with Agha serving as vice-captain. The PCB stated that the captaincy changes were made with the future in mind, considering Pakistan’s participation in the 2025 Asia Cup and the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup. Agha previously captained Pakistan to a series win against Zimbabwe and now has another chance to prove himself.
