Quetta Gladiators captain Saud Shakeel has praised young talents Hassan Nawaz and Khawaja Nafay, calling them future prospects for Pakistan’s national team after their strong performances in HBL PSL 10.
“Hassan Nawaz played all kinds of shots and was instrumental in our victories,” Saud said before the Qualifier against Islamabad United at Gaddafi Stadium. He added that both Nawaz and Nafay have shown the potential to make it to the international stage soon.

Hassan Nawaz, the tournament’s fifth-highest run-scorer, has scored 317 runs at an average of 63.40 and a strike rate of 159.29, including two fifties and a century.
Reflecting on Quetta’s campaign, Saud credited the team’s turnaround to Hassan’s inclusion and noted that the final playing XI is still being evaluated for the upcoming clash.
With Quetta finishing top of the points table, the Gladiators are eyeing a spot in the final—and Saud believes these young guns could play a key role in that success.
