Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has backed Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup 2034 .
A delegation led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Sport, and Yasser Al Misehal, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), will submit the bid to FIFA in Paris.

Prince Abdulaziz highlighted that this support underscores Saudi Arabia’s role as a global sports hub and aligns with Vision 2030. The bid, which started on October 4, 2023, aims to showcase the Kingdom’s transformation and ability to host major events. The final decision will be announced in December.
