Tennis legend Novak Djokovic has hinted that the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics could mark the end of his illustrious career, as speculation about his retirement continues to grow. The 38-year-old Serbian icon admitted that the thought of retirement crossed his mind after his semi-final loss at Roland Garros.
Djokovic, who won his last Grand Slam at the 2023 US Open and clinched his first Olympic gold at Paris 2024, revealed that the upcoming Olympics now serve as his primary professional goal. “The only thing I have in my vision is the Olympics of 2028 in Los Angeles,” he said.

Despite holding 24 Grand Slam titles and 100 ATP singles trophies, Djokovic emphasized that even the Grand Slams no longer hold the same importance for him. His focus, he noted, is squarely on representing Serbia on the Olympic stage one last time.
His sponsor, Lacoste, confirmed his commitment to stay in the game until at least the LA Games. As Djokovic enters what may be his final phase, fans brace for a historic farewell that could redefine his legacy.
