Djokovic

Novak Djokovic is just one win away from his 100th career title after defeating Grigor Dimitrov 6-2, 6-3 in the Miami Open semi-final. The 37-year-old Serbian, now the oldest man to reach an ATP Masters 1000 final, will face 19-year-old Jakub Mensik, who stunned Taylor Fritz in a thrilling three-set match.

Djokovic’s dominant performance saw him maintain his unbeaten record in Miami semi-finals. With a strong serve and steady play, he remains confident of joining Jimmy Connors (109) and Roger Federer (103) in the 100-title club.

Meanwhile, Mensik, inspired by meeting Lionel Messi before his match, credited the football legend for his luck, even joking that he didn’t wash his hand after shaking Messi’s. After his win, he wrote “Thank you, Leo” on the camera lens.

The Miami Open final will see experience clash with youth as Djokovic aims to make history against the rising Czech star.
