Karachi Mayor Gives $10,000 to Youth Football Team for Norway Cup Success

In a show of support, Karachi Mayor, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, has awarded $10,000 to the youth football team that achieved second place at the recent Norway Cup. The team, which participated in the prestigious tournament in Norway, was honored with a meeting at the Mayor’s office, where Wahab praised their impressive performance and expressed hope for their continued success.

“Achieving second place among some of the world’s top teams is remarkable,” said Mayor Wahab. “The team has proudly represented Pakistan on the global stage, and we look forward to seeing more talented football players emerge from Pakistan.”

To celebrate their achievement and encourage future success, Mayor Wahab announced a reward of 10 lakh rupees ($10,000) for the team.

The Mayor’s gesture underscores his dedication to advancing sports development in Karachi, providing youth with the resources and motivation to excel internationally.
