ICC Announces Dates for ICC World Cup Trophy Tour Across Pakistan

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the schedule for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour 2023, which will travel to 18 countries around the world. The trophy tour aims to provide fans with a unique opportunity to engage with the prestigious trophy ahead of the much-anticipated tournament in India.

The tour was launched in a remarkable manner, as the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy was sent into the stratosphere, reaching an altitude of 120,000 feet before gracefully landing at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. The trophy was affixed to a specially designed stratospheric balloon, capturing stunning footage of it against the backdrop of the Earth’s atmosphere using 4K cameras.

The 2023 edition of the Trophy Tour is set to be the largest yet, enabling fans in various countries and cities worldwide to connect with the revered silverware. Commencing on June 27, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy will journey across 18 countries, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Malaysia, the United States, Nigeria, Uganda, France, Italy, and the host country, India.

Following a hiatus since 2019, the 2023 Trophy Tour promises to recreate the celebratory and festive atmosphere witnessed during the pinnacle event. With innovative activations and events planned in different countries, the tour will grant up to one million cricket enthusiasts the chance to personally interact with the illustrious trophy.

The Trophy Tour will commence in India on June 27, traverse the globe, and eventually return to the host nation on September 4.
