Pakistan’s Under-19 cricket team secured a significant victory over India’s Under-19 team in their second match of the U-19 Asia Cup. The match, held at ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, ended with Pakistan winning by 8 wickets.
After winning the toss, Pakistan opted to field first. Mohammad Zeeshan’s exceptional bowling performance, taking four crucial wickets, played a key role in limiting India to 259 runs in 50 overs. Ubaid Shah and Amir Hassan also contributed by securing two wickets each.

In response, Pakistan showcased an impressive batting display. Azan Owais played a stellar innings, scoring a brilliant century with 105 runs, including ten boundaries. Shahzaib Khan added a dynamic 63, and captain Saad Baig remained unbeaten with 68 runs. Pakistan successfully chased the target of 260 runs, losing only two wickets in 47 overs.
This victory marks Pakistan Under-19’s second consecutive win in the tournament, following their earlier triumph against Nepal Under-19. The team is set to face Afghanistan in their third match on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
