Pakistani Baseball star Lance Khan Dies in Tragic Car Crash at 21

Lance Khan, a promising 21-year-old Pakistani baseball player, has died in a car accident in Houston, leaving the sports community in shock.

Khan had represented Pakistan at the 2023 Lincoln Cup and was hailed as one of the nation’s brightest baseball prospects. He played collegiate baseball at the University of St. Thomas (UST), where his passion and team spirit made him a beloved figure.

UST Baseball paid tribute on social media, saying, “Your voice will echo in the dugout for eternity. We love you, Lance. Rest easy.”

Pakistan Baseball Federation President Fakhar Shah called his loss heartbreaking, remembering him as a symbol of hope for the sport in Pakistan. Khan had also recently returned to the field after a courageous fight with cancer.

A GoFundMe page has been launched to support his family with funeral expenses, while another passenger injured in the crash is expected to recover.
