Rossouw And Nawaz Smash Twin Centuries In Record-Breaking PSL Clash

Rilee Rossouw and Hasan Nawaz etched their names in T20 history by becoming the first-ever pair to score centuries in the same innings of a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match. Their explosive partnership propelled Quetta Gladiators to a commanding 109-run victory over Islamabad United and a record-breaking total of 263-3.

Rossouw led the charge with a blistering 104 off 46 balls, hammering 14 fours and six sixes. After his dismissal in the 16th over, Nawaz carried the momentum, reaching his unbeaten 100 off just 45 balls with 9 sixes and 7 fours, capping off the innings in style.

Their 134-run stand is one of only ten instances of twin hundreds in men’s T20 history, joining iconic pairings like Kohli-de Villiers and Bairstow-Warner. Quetta’s mammoth total also set a new PSL record, surpassing the 262-3 by Multan Sultans in 2023.

The emphatic win locked Quetta into the top two for the playoffs, while Islamabad must now overcome Karachi Kings on May 10 to secure a playoff berth.
