In their seventh World Cup match of 2023 against New Zealand, South Africa unleashed a remarkable 15 sixes, bringing their total for the tournament to 82. This accomplishment surpasses England’s previous record of 76 sixes, established in 2019 when they were crowned champions. What’s even more astonishing is that South Africa reached this milestone in just seven innings, while it took England eleven innings to achieve the same feat.

In the 2015 World Cup, West Indies secured the third spot on the list with a total of 68 sixes, while Australia claimed the fourth position in the 2007 tournament.
