Usman Club, Arambagh Club Claim Wins in Commissioner Karachi Basketball Tournament

Usman Club secured a 39-32 victory against Karachi Colts, while Arambagh Club edged past Titans Club 42-39 in the 8th Commissioner Karachi Basketball Tournament held at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court, Aram Bagh.

In the first match, Mubariz Ahmed led Usman Club with 22 points, including four three-pointers. Saleh Ahmed and Hamza Khawaja contributed 8 and 6 points, respectively. For Karachi Colts, Razin scored 12, Ayan Ali added 10, and Yahya Bhatti scored 8 points.

In the second match, Daniyal Khan Marwat’s 16 points and Zain Channa’s 14 guided Arambagh Club to victory, supported by Muhammad Abdullah Khan’s 10 points. Titans Club’s Ghazanfar Ali scored 16, while Yahya Khan and Zoha Ali added 9 points each.

The tournament, conducted under the supervision of Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi, will feature a girls’ event starting Sunday at 2 pm. Special guest Asad Shakir of Qaumi Akhbar Group announced plans to sponsor a boys and girls basketball series in Karachi, Hyderabad, and Mirpur Khas after Eid-ul-Fitr.

Prominent attendees included Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Asghar Baloch, and Maimuna Iqbal.
