West Indian Bowler's Epic Celebration After Dismissing Usman Khawaja

West Indies fast bowler Kevin Sinclair marked his Test debut with a memorable performance in the second Test match against Australia at the Gabba stadium in Brisbane. The 24-year-old off-spinner not only took his maiden Test wicket by dismissing Usman Khwaja at a crucial moment in the game but also showcased an exuberant celebration that earned praise from commentators.

Sinclair’s football-inspired celebration, which included a cartwheel, was described as “10 out of 10” by the commentators, highlighting the cricketer’s jubilation at securing his first Test scalp. The Guyanese cricketer had earlier made a significant contribution with the bat, scoring a crucial half-century in the first innings of the second Test. His performance, along with efforts from other players, helped West Indies post a total of 311 in response to Australia’s declaration at 289-9.

In addition to Sinclair’s impressive debut, West Indies bowlers Kemar Roach and Alzarri Joseph delivered dazzling spells, taking a combined total of 7 wickets during Australia’s innings. The West Indies finished the second day of the Test match with a lead of 35 runs, showcasing a competitive performance at the Gabba.
