West Indies Secure Thrilling Victory to Level Series Against Pakistan

West Indies claimed a stunning 120-run victory over Pakistan in the second Test, leveling the two-match series at 1-1. Chasing a target of 254, Pakistan faltered against the West Indian spinners, collapsing under relentless pressure. The visitors’ win was their first Test triumph in Pakistan since 1990, making the victory all the more remarkable.

Resuming at 76/4, Pakistan’s hopes of a recovery were dashed as Jomel Warrican and Kevin Sinclair wreaked havoc. Sinclair struck early by dismissing Saud Shakeel for 13, setting the tone for the day. Warrican quickly followed up, sending Kashif Ali back for just one, reducing Pakistan to 76/6.

Although Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha attempted a fightback with a 39-run partnership, Warrican broke through again, dismissing Salman for 15. Rizwan soon followed, falling for 25, as Pakistan’s chances of a comeback faded. Warrican continued to dominate, finishing with impressive figures of 5/27.

Pakistan’s batting lineup crumbled further, and the West Indies spinners, including Sinclair and Gudakesh Motie, were too much to handle. With Pakistan bowled out for 133, West Indies celebrated a commanding and historic win.
