Pakistan delivered a stellar performance at the 32nd Asian Junior Individual Squash Championships 2025 held in South Korea, bringing home a total of seven medals. The country’s young talent secured two golds, two silvers, and one bronze in the main event, along with two more golds in the plate category.
In the Boys U-13 final, Muhammad Sohail Adnan clinched gold by defeating India’s Ayaan Dhanuka 3-1. In the Boys U-15 final, Nauman Khan overcame fellow Pakistani Ahmed Rayyan Khalil in straight sets to claim the top podium position. Meanwhile, Mahnoor Ali earned a silver medal in the Girls U-13 category after a close five-set battle with China’s Yin Z.

Abdullah Nawaz added to the tally with a bronze medal in the Boys U-19 event. In the plate events, Yahya Khan (U-17) and Muhammad Mustafa (U-13) also secured gold medals by defeating opponents from South Korea and Hong Kong, respectively.
The Pakistan Squash Federation lauded the athletes for their hard work and determination, calling the medal haul a sign that Pakistan squash is “back on track.” The triumph has sparked optimism about the sport’s revival in the country through emerging young talent.
