Apple has provided steps to resolve a problem where iPhone users reported missing notes in the Notes app after accepting updated iCloud terms and conditions earlier this month.
A new support document advises users to enable syncing for Notes in iCloud settings and restart their devices if the issue persists. This process should restore any notes stored in iCloud.

The problem followed updates to Apple’s iCloud terms introduced in September, prompting complaints from users about disappearing notes and syncing errors.
In addition to this, Apple addressed a separate issue where some users encountered a “Cannot Complete Action” error when accepting updated terms, recommending software updates to resolve it.
