The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has conducted two successful raids in Sargodha, in coordination with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), to curb the proliferation of illegal internet services.
The first raid took place in RB Block, Rose Valley Society, and the second was conducted at Burj-e-Umar Plaza, Mian Khan Road. During these raids, one person was arrested, and various equipment used by illegal internet service providers (ISPs), such as switches, routers, laptops, and antennas, was confiscated.

These entities were found to be providing ISP services without a valid license from PTA in Sargodha and surrounding areas.
PTA emphasized the importance of availing telecom services only from PTA-licensed operators to avoid service discontinuation.
