Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) announced efforts to fix internet disruptions caused by a subsea cable fault affecting network speeds nationwide.

The fault occurred in the Asia-Africa-Europe-1 (AAE-1) cable near Qatar, impacting browsing speeds since Thursday night. PTCL teams are working to address the issue and have apologized for the inconvenience.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) confirmed the fault, which affects several countries connected via the AAE-1 cable. Despite improving broadband speeds, Pakistan continues to face slow internet issues.
