Electric Jet

Saudi Arabia’s national airline, Saudia, has launched an innovative electric jet service aimed at transporting pilgrims to Makkah and luxury resorts. This service aims to enhance transportation options to hard-to-reach cities, making it easier for pilgrims and tourists to access key destinations. Notably, takeoff points include the helipad at the Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower Hotel, conveniently located near the Grand Mosque.

Saudia’s electric jet initiative is expected to not only improve connectivity but also contribute to the Kingdom’s sustainability goals by reducing the carbon footprint associated with traditional air travel.
