Xpeng Aeroht Secures 2008 Pre-Orders for Flying Car at Airshow China

Xpeng Aeroht, the flying car division of Xpeng, has secured a groundbreaking 2008 pre-orders for its modular flying car, the Land Aircraft Carrier, at the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) in Zhuhai. This marks the largest order in the flying car industry to date, with customers spanning sectors such as transportation, tourism, real estate, and technology.

The airshow, which runs from November 12 to 17, also featured the world’s first public flight of the modular flying car. Xpeng Aeroht is set to begin pre-sales by the end of 2024, with mass production scheduled for 2026. The flying car will be priced under 2 million yuan ($277,390).

Xpeng Aeroht, majority-owned by Xpeng and founded in 2013, is focused on developing Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing vehicles. The company is also building a manufacturing base in Guangzhou with a production capacity of 10,000 units annually.
