The Telenor Group’s Board of Directors has named Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer as the incoming President and CEO, succeeding Sigve Brekke, who will step down from the role on December 1, 2024, after serving for more than nine years.

Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer has been appointed as the new President & CEO of Telenor Group. Currently serving as the CEO of SpareBank 1 SR-Bank, Fasmer brings extensive experience from the banking and technology sectors, as well as a strong background in board leadership roles.
