TEVTA KP Introduces Electric Vehicle Training Courses

In a significant development for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s electric vehicle sector, the provincial government has partnered with the Electrical Vehicle Academy Islamabad. The primary objective of this collaboration is to enhance the skills of technical students and professionals involved in the electric vehicle manufacturing industry, with a specific focus on transitioning from traditional to electric vehicles in the region.

As part of this initiative, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education department will collaborate with EV Academy Islamabad to conduct specialized training programs. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) will play a facilitating role by providing the necessary spaces and equipment for these programs. EV Academy Islamabad, leveraging its experienced trainers, will contribute by imparting advanced technological skills to the participants.

This collaborative effort was discussed in detail during a meeting held in Islamabad, which saw the participation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education and Newly Merged Districts Affairs, Aamer Abdullah.

Representatives from EV Academy, including Directors Saad Elahi and Syed Amaar Hussain Jafari, as well as Manager Operations Ikramullah, were also present. The meeting focused on the training aspects of electric vehicle production and explored potential avenues for further cooperation in this field. This partnership marks a significant step forward in advancing the electric vehicle sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and fostering skill development in the growing industry.
