The Australian defense chief pays a visit to GHQ, praising the professionalism displayed by the armed forces

The meeting between Chief of Defence Forces Australia General Angus J. Campbell and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Pakistan, signifies the strengthening of military ties between the two countries. According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the discussions primarily revolved around the global and regional security landscape and explored avenues for further cooperation.

Both generals reiterated their commitment to enhancing military-to-military cooperation, underscoring the deepening strategic partnership between Australia and Pakistan. General Campbell commended the professional standards of the Pakistan Armed Forces and praised their significant achievements in counterterrorism efforts.
