The court in Gujranwala delays judgement over Parvez Elahi’s physical detention.

On Saturday, a Gujranwala court postponed ruling on a petition from the Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) calling for the 14-day physical detention of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Parvez Elahi.

Elahi was brought before Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Afzal today, one day after he was taken into custody in Lahore, by Punjab ACE officials.

Elahi was escorted by ACE representatives from Lahore to its regional headquarters in Gujranwala earlier this morning.
