The first shipment of Russian wheat arrives in Karachi

KARACHI, Pakistan – With the arrival of the first consignment of Russian wheat in Karachi, flour prices are expected to fall.
According to local media, the first consignment of Russian wheat arrived in Karachi, bringing 1,000 tonnes of the basic commodity.

They remarked that this is the first time the private sector has ordered wheat from Russia.
The wheat came from Russia and cost $279.50 per metric tonne.
The arrival of the consignment, according to reports, will most likely result in a fall in the price of wheat in the local market.
It went on to say that flour mills would be supplied imported Russian wheat at Rs92 per kg.
It is expected that the price of flour would fall dramatically.
