The allocation of 27 plots in Johar Town, Lahore, valued Rs. 1.4 billion, has been suspended by ACE. These plots were gained fraudulently through the use of false documents. ACE is currently looking into Shahid Munir, who is accused of orchestrating the acquisition of these properties using fraudulent documentation.

The activities of the institution against corruption in the LDA are a positive development. These arrests send a strong message that ACE is serious about combating corruption.
