Trade suspended at Torkham border after Pak-Afghan clash

KHYBER (KHYBER) – Trade activities were halted at the Torkham border crossing between Pakistan and India on Saturday after soldiers from both countries engaged in a skirmish.
According to reports, an FC official who was injured in the event has been taken to a hospital for treatment. The brawl started after both sides disagreed on the movement of laborers.

An FC soldier was injured in February 2023 after Afghan border forces resorted to unjustified firing at the Torkham border crossing between the two nations.
Afghanistan’s army, where the Taliban are in charge, targeted a paramilitary checkpoint. Pakistani forces replied appropriately.
