Armaghan Admits to 'Killing' Mustafa Amir

Police have reported that Armaghan has confessed to the murder of Mustafa Amir during interrogation, as per NewsGuru on Thursday.

According to officials, Armaghan’s confession has been recorded on video.

In his statement, Armaghan admitted to driving Mustafa Amir’s car from Khayaban-e-Mohafiz to Dareji before setting it on fire while Mustafa was still alive but semi-conscious. He also confessed to assaulting Mustafa and firing three warning shots with a rifle that did not hit him.

Additionally, Armaghan revealed that on February 8, he noticed the police entering his bungalow late at night. He claimed that if he had spotted them earlier, an intense shootout could have occurred, according to authorities.

Police further alleged that Armaghan was involved in drug dealing before establishing a call center business.

Investigators have identified a girl whose DNA was found at his residence and have launched a search for her. Reports suggest that she was injured by Armaghan on New Year’s Eve.

Officials stated that the exact cause of Mustafa’s death will be confirmed after post-mortem and DNA analysis.

The Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) revisited Armaghan’s residence to collect more forensic evidence, but weapons or blunt objects linked to the crime have not yet been recovered.

Authorities confirmed that Armaghan remains in custody and is still under interrogation. A final investigation report has yet to be compiled.

Medical Board Formation:

As per court orders, a medical board has been constituted for the exhumation of Mustafa Amir’s body in connection with the murder investigation.

The exhumation is scheduled for February 21, under the supervision of a judicial magistrate.

Dr. Summaiya Syed has been appointed as the chairperson of the medical board, alongside Dr. Shri Chand and Medico-Legal Officer Dr. Kamran Khan.
