In the widely acclaimed Top 50 Asian Celebrities in The World list by the Eastern Eye newspaper, he secured the ninth position globally, surpassing celebrities from various domains like Hollywood, Bollywood, music, television, literature, and social media.
As the sole representative from Pakistan in the top 10, Wahaj’s ranking is attributed to his hard work and notable contributions throughout the year. Expressing gratitude, he stated, “Even though it’s nice to be recognized, my main focus continues to be giving my best every time for my fans.” He acknowledged the support from colleagues, the audience, and fans, expressing eagerness to push creative boundaries further.

The Top 50 list, highlighting Asian stars who excelled in 2023, considers factors such as outstanding work, positive impact, boundary-breaking achievements, fan attention, and inspirational influence. Entertainment editor Asjad Nazir highlighted Wahaj Ali’s exceptional performances in the record-breaking drama serial “Tere Bin,” which resonated with diverse global audiences. Nazir described Wahaj as one of the finest Pakistani actors of this generation, commending his talent and rapidly growing fan base.
Shah Rukh Khan clinched the top spot on the list, capping a year of remarkable achievements. His success with blockbuster hits like “Pathaan” and “Jawan” revitalized the Hindi cinema industry. Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas secured the second and third positions, respectively, for their significant contributions to Indian cinema and global influence.
