Terrorists have struck Turkey’s capital, attacking the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) in Ankara, leaving five dead and 14 injured.
Turkish media reported confirmation of the attack by senior officials, with Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya sharing on the social media platform X that multiple casualties resulted from the incident. He further mentioned that security forces are actively working to neutralize the terrorists, urging the public to rely on official statements for accurate updates.

Explosions and gunfire were reported at TAI in Ankara’s Kahramankazan district, prompting an immediate response from security forces, firefighters, and paramedics.
Defense company officials have been advised to relocate for safety reasons, while Ankara’s Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into the attack.
TAI, one of Turkey’s most critical defense and aviation firms, is known for producing the nation’s first indigenous fighter jet and employing over 10,000 staff.
