The soldier, identified as Arjun Charn Naik, did not leave behind a suicide note. A post-mortem confirmed that asphyxiation was the cause of death, verifying it as a suicide, though the reasons for his actions remain unknown.

The police have launched an investigation, though no definitive findings have been released. Following the post-mortem, the soldier’s body was returned to his native village. Suicides among military personnel are often attributed to low morale, harsh treatment, and mental stress.
