The aircraft has a rapid recharge time of about five minutes, allowing passengers to board and disembark efficiently. CEO JoeBen Bevirt envisions a booking process similar to rideshare apps.

Joby aims to initiate commercial passenger service in 2025 and is currently in the third certification stage with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). While the exact trip cost remains undisclosed, the company has indicated it will likely be comparable to rideshare services in cars.
