The UAE has reduced the processing time for obtaining work permits and residency visas from 30 days to just five days as part of the second phase of the Work Bundle platform.
This new initiative will simplify the hiring process for new employees in businesses and private companies, as well as the pre-renewal of work permits for existing employees.

According to the Khaleej Times, the second phase of the Work Bundle will benefit approximately 600,000 companies and over seven million workers.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) stated that the third phase will include domestic workers.
Currently, companies and employees can only access the Work Bundle through its website (workinuae.ae), but a mobile app will be available soon.
