Popular podcaster Joe Rogan has officially endorsed former President Donald Trump in the upcoming U.S. presidential election. This announcement comes after Rogan’s recent interview with Trump, which lasted nearly three hours and was widely viewed on platforms like YouTube and Spotify, garnering over 45 million views.
In his post on X, Rogan clarified his endorsement, stating, “For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump.” He also referenced a clip from an interview with Elon Musk, who has similarly endorsed Trump, noting that Musk made a compelling case for the former president.

Trump is set to face off against Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris on November 5, in what polls indicate is a closely contested race. Harris has received significant celebrity endorsements, including support from figures like LeBron James, Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift.
Despite his past criticisms of Rogan, Trump later described him as a “good guy.” Rogan’s influence is notable, as he has a massive following, with 14.5 million followers on Spotify, making “The Joe Rogan Experience” the platform’s most popular podcast. His audience demographics show a significant male majority, with a large portion under 35, a group that generally leans towards Trump.
While Harris’ team had previously considered an appearance on Rogan’s podcast, they confirmed that she will not be participating. With Rogan joining a list of celebrity endorsements for Trump that includes Musk and wrestler Hulk Hogan, the dynamics of the election continue to evolve with public figures weighing in on the candidates.
