Eligible patients will need to provide blood and tissue samples to participate. The program, known as the Cancer Vaccine Launch Pad, encompasses 30 UK sites and involves a collaboration with BioNTech. The first participant, Elliot Pfebve, who has colorectal cancer, has already received the vaccine. While early results are promising, further data is required to assess the vaccine’s effectiveness.
